Gettin’ on schedule

Since speaking last week to my friend Johanny about her intentions to be more efficient, I myself have been thinking about how I could accomplish that. I finally came to the conclusion to put myself on a strict schedule.
Admittedly, commitment is something I am not particularly good at. However, I am optimistic about this. I feel I need a drastic change to accomplish some of the goals I’ve set out for myself. If I could comply with a strict schedule, this will be a huge step in the right direction.
Of course, there’s going to have to be some sacrifices but I also have to be realistic. That is why I’m limiting the scheduling to weekdays (Mondays through Thursdays). Some of the things I’ll have to give up:
- No working on personal projects (like BFWorks stuff).
- No watching sport games–sigh.
- No television shows (not even 24).
- No phone conversations–texting or voice calls (except for during class *ahem*).
I guess I’ll make exceptions if I complete my scheduled tasks by the time alloted—we’ll see how that works. I plan on setting the schedule sometime later this week and putting it into effect next week.
If anyone has any suggestions and such, please forward them my way!

Goals should be realistic, or they are doomed to fail. A schedule that excludes 24 is incredibly unrealistic. Modify accordingly

Yea, that didn’t work lol. I’m going to attempt to apply the whole “Getting things done” system. So far, the system seems promising. Only a tenth through the book however. We shall see.
