Last weekend before school begins

Jan 19th, 2008 at 6:45pm

Started of by spending Friday’s over at the upper west side. Got nice off 50 cent beers at Burbon St. and partied away at 420. Put up some pictures on facebook. Most of the crew was out (yep, even Iris, Aisha and Janira came out).

Tonight, I’ll probably end up somewhere just not sure yet.

Sunday, I’ll find a place to watch the Giants game.

Then, next Friday school begins again. I’m nervous about the upcoming 2 semesters (hopefully my final 2) but I am as ready as I’ll ever be.

2008 graduate?

Jan 12th, 2008 at 12:20pm

Graduation
Seems like I might be graduating December 2008. However, it’s going to be tough. To be able to graduate in December 2008, I’ll have to break a couple of the rules I set for myself after my disappointing beginning of my college career:

  1. Taking more than 4 courses in a semester.
  2. Taking more than 1 math course in a semester.

On the other hand, I just want to finish. I have been doing surprisingly well since going back to school 2 years ago. I have to thank my friends and fam for their support.

Also, I don’t want to have to pay for another semester of classes. Hopefully this doesn’t backfire.

I expect to have a lacking social life for 2008 but that just means that 2009, it’s on!

I’m studying, leave me alone!

Dec 17th, 2007 at 11:21pm

Textbooks Finals are here. Boy do I loveee me some finals.

This week however, I’ve figured out (after only many years in College) that I am way more productive studying in the late night. I’m putting that to test tonight with an all nighter.

After Thursday, I am done! Well, till January 25th.

…back to my Comp Theory textbook.

Irving sucks (more) now

Nov 5th, 2007 at 6:52pm

Irving sucks!

I’m not saying it was the best school when I attended but sheesh. It received an F in the Mayor’s office school progress report. That’s in the bottom 12%. Disappointed alum right here.

For more information about the rating process, read the 1010wins article or the NY Post joint. You could also view the full report if you wish to find your own school.
